classes & courses

GDance works to ensure there are a range of opportunities for disabled and non-disabled people in Gloucestershire (and some surrounding areas) to get involved in dance and the arts. We also seek to support those who want to develop their range of experience and talent.

Current courses include:

  • Arts Inc. Clubs: Fun, creative dance and art courses will run during the Easter holidays in Tewkesbury and Gloucester. (click on 'youth' to the right to find out more)
  • Bristol Youth Inclusion Project: Two schools in Bristol, one mainstream and one catering specifically for special needs, will host these classes where students will have 7-9 classes at their respective schools then 3 collaborative rehearsals and finally finish the course with a performance together.   • Weekly classes in Gloucester for 11 - 21 year olds (click on 'youth' to the right to find out more)
  • VIA: our community company for disabled adults (click on 'adult' to the right to find out more)
  • Make Those Moves: a new course for adults, run by , in Gloucester. (click on 'adult' to the right to find out more)
  • GDance Youth Company: a chance for disabled and non-disabled young people to develop their talent in inclusive dance (click on 'youth' to the right to find out more)
  • Lead In: our 2-day course run in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire aimed at giving an understanding of basic dance leadership skills. Click here to find out more.
